World of Warcraft: Forever Officially Announced as Permanent "Classic+" Experience
Blizzard has officially revealed World of Warcraft: Forever, putting an end to weeks of fan speculation sparked by website datamining under a "wow 2" tag. Set to launch globally on November 4, WoW: Forever delivers the long-rumored "Classic+" experience as a permanent third pillar alongside Modern and Classic World of Warcraft.
Senior Game Director Ion Hazzikostas and the development team detailed the project's scope during a dedicated BlizzCon panel, confirming a return to original continents with a level cap of 60. Narrative-wise, the game is set after the new Forsaken Kingdom campaign but prior to the original Molten Core raid.
